Value added:

This commercial office space is spread over the ground and lower ground floors of a large unit. The space, with multiple staircases, entrance points and meandering corridors, created a fragmented series of workspaces. Paired with its tired fit out, it proved difficult to rent. Our proposals divide the space into three units, and upgrade all services, lighting, tea-points, and WCs, to create more desirable workspaces.

Sustainability:

The project includes the design of new kitchens and toilet cores, new services and new LED lighting on a dimming system that responds to daylight levels to minimise energy use throughout the day. The design response, which will draw inspiration from the existing building, will completely reposition the building in the market to improve lettability.
