We’ve been longlisted for the 2024 Don’t Move, Improve! Award

Our Curve House has been long listed for a Don’t Move, Improve! Award

We're proud to announce that our Curve House has been longlisted by Don't Move, Improve!, New London Architecture’s annual competition and programme celebrating London’s best domestic-scale designs that showcase the rich variety and character of homes across London. From green urban oases to redefining layouts, projects that are long listed “showcase exceptional innovation, creativity and forward-thinking in home improvements across the capital”. To see more images of our project visit our project page here or visit their website here to see the post.

The theme of the Awards this year is ‘Reimagine the Home’ which will showcase “the best home improvement projects that have significantly transformed the way the occupiers live - by futureproofing spaces, designing for adaptability, improving energy performance, and reimagining spaces through material and colour considerations”.

NLA go on to say that the longlisted and winning projects “will highlight the importance of homes as living spaces that are designed to last and reflect the diversity and character of London. This year’s projects will also explore environmental leadership, cost‑effective solutions, access to nature, designs that prioritise personality, ingenuity when working with tight space constraints and exceptional displays of craftsmanship”.

Here’s a throwback to 4 S Architecture’s Zig Zag House that was long listed back in 2021, and if you want to hear about what our client thought about working with us, visit our recent journal post here.

A big congratulations also goes out to the other practices in the longlist.
