Once a grand private residence, and later a women’s dress shop and furrier complete with a shop floor and changing rooms, a staff canteen and tailor’s workshops on the upper floors, this elegant neo-Georgian red brick building is now being transformed into a workspace suitable for today’s 21st century occupier.  

Located on prestigious Grosvenor Street in the heart of the Mayfair Conservation Area, we are giving this 5 storey locally listed building a complete refurbishment while retaining and restoring its many historic features including ornate cornicing, fireplaces and staircase railings. New interventions draw inspiration from the building’s DNA and seek to significantly improve accessibility and the fire safety of the building as a whole.

Sustainability:

All existing roofs are being upgraded with new non combustible insulation to raise the EPC rating of the building.  New electric radiators that reference the appearance of old cast iron radiators will replace an old gas boiler to heat the common parts using renewable energy sources while appearing in keeping with the heritage setting. New fan coil units concealed in elegantly designed bespoke joinery provides energy efficient heating and cooling in office spaces.
