It’s a wrap! 4 S A’s end of year behind-the-scenes update

As 2023 draws to a close, we thought you would share with you a brief behind -the-scenes -update on four exciting residential and workplace projects which we have been helping to successfully deliver on site over the past 6 months. During the construction stage, progress takes place at a rapid pace, and our dedicated team has been responsive, agile and available to respond to contractor queries. Thanks to our efficient team and in-house construction expertise, this process has been running smoothly on all of our jobs. Here is a sneak-peek of what will be completing next year:

1/ Belgravia Mews: strip out complete and fit out underway

Our research into this mews property in Belgravia revealed its Victorian origins. Eager to tap into this chapter of the building’s history, we proposed that the flat suspended ceiling of the first floor be removed to reveal the incredible double pitched roof. This has resulted in a remarkable transformation of the space. The added height, light and drama of this top floor will make the resulting rental space highly attractive to prospective tenants.

2/ Eucalyptus House: completion scheduled for February 2024

Nestled within the Trinity Gardens Conservation Area in South London, our Eucalyptus House is an ambitious residential scheme that pays tribute to the character of its surroundings and an existing Eucalyptus tree in the rear garden. The client brief was exacting, and the results demonstrate our attention to detail – from the heritage colour palette to the brickwork setting out.

3/ Grosvenor Place: completion scheduled for February 2024

Our vision for this Grade II listed French Renaissance building on the edge of Hyde Park draws from the opulence of the building’s past – from the black and white floor tiles in the reception area to the blue and gold accents characteristic of this French-inspired style favoured by Queen Victoria.

The custom pre-fabricated curved plywood and plasterboard edge profiles to the dropped ceiling service zone have arrived on site and are starting to be installed.

Completion is scheduled in early 2024 - watch this space!

4/ Zig Zag Roof House: Phase 2 Underway

Phase 2 of our Zig Zag Roof House is also on site with its new dormer loft conversion which will add a flexible home office, gaming space and guest room overlooking the surrounding neighbourbood. All of the triple glazed windows and roof-lights have been safely installed, and the party walls have been insulated with wood fibre insulation, and covered with insulating lime plaster. The final painting and decorating is well underway with the second fix electrics in progress.
